Royalty Grisby Missing From Stone Mountain, GA
Elizabeth Grisby, mother of Royalty Grisby, was working early Thursday morning, delivering food for DoorDash, when her car was stolen with her one-year-old daughter asleep inside.
Dekalb County Police Department issued an amber alert for Royalty Grisby and began a search for her and the missing vehicle.
I just want my baby home. That’s it. I just want her. You can take her to the hospital. You can take her anywhere. You can take her to a store. Just bring her home.

Elizabeth Grisby spoke to reporters saying that she didn’t care about the missing car, but pleaded for her child to be returned.

Missing Car Found – Royalty Grisby Not Inside
The burgundy Nissan Armada was found in a neighborhood off Young Road, in Atlanta. The license plates had been changed, and the car was abandoned.
At approximately 1PM, DeKalb police Chief Mirtha Ramos reported that 14 year old Malachi Richardson had been arrested as a suspect in the crime.
“Richardson lives in the area and was believed to be connected to both crime scenes, Ramos said. Investigators believe he is the sole suspect, and they are hoping his capture leads them to the missing child.” (From AJC.com)

While the stolen Nissan Armada was found in Atlanta, Royalty Grisby was not inside.
Royalty Grisby Found Safe and Returned Home
At 3:45PM, Dekalb Police Department reported that they had Royalty Grisby and reunited her with her mother.

“Police said a passerby saw someone placing the baby on a porch off Stoneleigh Hill Road and alerted the homeowner.
The suspect 14-year-old Malachi Richardson is in custody and will be charged with kidnapping and theft by taking motor vehicle. Police said Richardson was already in custody when the baby was dropped off.” (From WSBTV.com)
