Gwinnett’s 4th Annual Red, Blue and You Celebration

Thursday, November 19th, Red Blue and You is hosting their annual celebration event to honor Gwinnett County’s public safety heroes.

About Red, Blue & You

Red, Blue & You was founded in 2016, through the collective support of local business owners, to host day of recognition for the first responders of Gwinnett County.  The organization added teachers and healthcare workers to their list of honored community heroes for the 2020 event.

“Every day, the men and women in public safety are willing to put their lives on the line in order to protect our businesses, families and communities. It’s their continued drive and passion for service that makes Gwinnett a world-class community.”

Community Participation

The spirit of this celebration is also being hosted throughout the community and online the whole day.  Schools, small businesses, and many others are promoting this day of recognition for the heroes in Gwinnett County.  Among those participating in promoting this day of honor is Parkview High School.

November 18th, the Parkview High School Facebook page posted a graphic asking their students, families, and followers to reach out to a teacher, first responder, or healthcare worker to express personal gratitude on that day, as well as encouraging everyone to post using the hashtags #RedBlueAndYou and #CelebratingGwinnetHeroes on November 19th.

2020 has been a year of community challenge, but together we continue to work and serve each other for a Greater Gwinnett.
